I thougth you did  Smiley
So when you use for example Opencockpits MCP then you only need MCP.exe.
If you use Opencockpits MCP + Efis then you need the same MCP.exe + the efis in GFD.
Sioc scripts are available in the download section.

You only will need another licence when there are internal changes in the pc such as adding a second internal HDD or adding some memory, things like that; not when you attach new external hardware.
Secondly, you cannot run 2 MCP modules simultanously.
MCP.exe OR GFD with the built-in MCP

Hello Martin,

wich module is running on the FS9 pc ?
There is no license needed for gfdserver, the other modules do need a license. If you add a HDD or extra ram then you need another license (for free for regsitered owners).

7  General / Questions / Re: FO PFD/ND wont' come up on: May 07, 2011, 12:14:12 am
Hi Serkan,

purely by coinsedence, I too had to reinstall the Glass Deck Software on my computer because I reinstalled Windows. I still had the old folder "Program Files" (on your computer "programme") on the second hard disk but after starting from that folder gfd.exe I had black screens just like you.

So I think that you simply copied your existing glassdecksoftware onto your new computer. That doens't work. First you must rename the existing "Glass Flight Deck" folder to something else and then install a fresh copy of glassdecksoftware on your new computer. To do so you need to download gfdsetup.exe from your flight deck software account. After that you can either copy your license into that new "Glass Flight Deck" folder + your existing gfd.xml + your navdata  either rename the new "Glass Deck Folder" into anything and restore the name of your old renamed Glass Flight Deck folder.
I kept the new folder and use the old renamed Glass Flight Deck as backup.
That works and I tested your gfd.xml. The gauges show up but you still have fine tuning to do  Grin. Your graphics card has nothing to do with, don't buy a new one.

Hi Serkan,

can you post a copy of the gfd.xml of that pc ? Maybe the gauges are out of scope due to an x, y error...
10  General / Questions / Re: Flight plan format on: May 03, 2011, 11:37:19 am
No compatability with any add-on.
You must simply enter the flightplan, just like in the real plane.

Thx for the feedback, Michael.

I thought you have to install the appropriate wav-files from a soundpackage as there are (were) no such files in the FDC package. I did not use the FDC myself so far, so I might be wrong.

Hello Maxime,

it doesn't matter wich 737 version is being used for now. There are some issues with the networkversion (XConnectclient) due to differences between VS2010 and earlier versions and also due to different parameter handling between applicationwindows in 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions. Not that easy to sort it out but there 's still some hope Smiley
