Hi Bart, hi Dirk,
now FDS- Software in connection with FS9 is working fine here and instruments of FDS have dynamic. The representaion of your gauges is very excellent and I like it very much!! In the plugins folder of X-plane I installed XConnect and XConnectServer(update version 2009-12-05) . Both are enabled the plugins menu of X-Plane. I removed XPUIPC from X-plane plugins folder, you recommended. I started first FDS, then FDC and WideConnectionClient at Client PC (very similar procedure like FS9 with the only difference, that I didn't start WideClintFS 98 finally, but WideConnectionClient ). After that procedure I get an error message (Error opening FDSWideConnectionClient.ini), otherwise FDSWideConnectionClient - Editor indicates that FDSConnectionClient is running... Altogether FDS instruments I cant't see using X-Plane as basic flightsim. kind regrads Rolf

Hi Rolf,
the error means that the file FDSWideConnectionClient.ini is not in the directory where FDSWideConnectionClient resides, I guess.
I will install the next days my new SIM pc with FS and X-Plane. I will look for it then.

Hi, I have the same problem... Downloaded and installed newest version, but the connection seems not to establish correctly. I get changing connection/non connection. Generated file says software is running, but function only local, not via network. I think exactly the same circumstances as blizzard.
thanks for ur help
Frank

Hi Dirk, hi Bart,
are there any news?
The FDS-connection to a client PC isn't still possible, because an error message appears if I run FDSWideConnectionClient. Error message: "Error opening FDSWideConnectionClient.ini"
I would like to buy your software, but this probleme have to be solved. There is no probleme with FDS application on a client PC with FS9.
It would be a good christmas present, if you could help me.
kind regards
Rolf

Hi Dirk,
it would be very kind, if you could solve the described problem.
I think, your were very near to fix the problem.
I know, that many X-plane user are waiting fot such kind of software, because it's an integrated solution especially for cockpit builders.
kind regrads and have a nice day
Rolf

Dirk,
I am new to Flight Deck Software but have been watching your progress on X-Plane. Your software is VERY impressive and reasonably priced. I too want to purchase your software but really only want to operate it on X-Plane. Any update on where you are with regards to compatibility and functionality? I am very excited about getting started.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Michael

Hello Michael, first: the software is not mine, Bart is the author and developer. second: the priority at this very moment is to get the Microsoft FS version right on track. The X-plane version will follow ofcourse but it has NOT YET the full priority. Some patience is required Best regards, Dirk

Dirk,
No worries. I have both software versions. If I have to focus on FSX for now that's no problem. Later when you have the X Plane version on track I'll jump into that one. If you need help Beta testing it let me know. I would like to help if possible.
Thanks for the quick response.
Michael

Hello Dirk, I think it's so annoying in the length of time to hear always "later this week", "soon", "I'm busy", more news and progess soon" ...! It realy a great pity! In the meantime there are alternativ possibilities for X-Plane cockpit builders to substitute parts of FDS. I think HSI will be of more significance in future and support more and more features! http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showforum=102In combination with SIOC from Opencockpits it's possible to create a complete cockpit for X-Plane user by themselves. Cheers Rolf
