I have a lot of question about this flightdeck software that looks quite interesting.

If i want to build a cockpit 737 with:
- glas-panel
- software based overhead,
- hardware based FMC (i.e. open cockpit)
- Hardware based MCP+EFIS (i.e. cpflight or open cockpit)
- At first only Captain's side.

There's a lot of programs in the download section and different prices on Flight deck cockpit and Glass-thingy.

So my qeustions are:

1. What softwares do i need to download to test it in demo-version - GFD, FDeck core or? i'm a bit confused.
2. What package will i eventuelly have to buy to make the above mentioned work?
3. Can you try to "sketch" how it all works together
4. Will DES-page work soon in the FMC? and what about VNAV Path decent.
5. What airplane in FSX should i use for the flying?

Hope you can make me understand this Wink

Hello Scope,

Welcome in the house  Smiley

For the hardware you mentioned you will need at least the pilot version.
However, if you want to add the overhead then you will need the full version because in that case you need the complete cockpitlogic as well.
Working OC scripts for EFIS, MCP and CDU are available. I use them myself.
Bart is working on the remaining things of the FMC, including DES page and VNAV. As a matter of fact, he's always busy with the software as creating software is a never ending story.
Even in the real world, the cockpit software is continously changing.
