Hi all,

i have following problem.
I have a network of 4 pc's. On the last pc on which I installed FO PFD/ND is an AMD XP1800+ with an Geforce 2 MX 64Mbyte.
When i start gfd on above pc, the screen stay black and don't show any gauges!
Is this an hardware problem? I mean, maybe the graphic card is too old?
On the other 3 pc ( 2 x Intel E6850 with Geforce 8800Gt, 1 x AMD X2 4200+ with Geforce 7900GT) it works well.

Maybe someone can help me out  Huh

regards

Hi Serkan,

can you post a copy of the gfd.xml of that pc ? Maybe the gauges are out of scope due to an x, y error...

Hi Serkan,

purely by coinsedence, I too had to reinstall the Glass Deck Software on my computer because I reinstalled Windows. I still had the old folder "Program Files" (on your computer "programme") on the second hard disk but after starting from that folder gfd.exe I had black screens just like you.

So I think that you simply copied your existing glassdecksoftware onto your new computer. That doens't work. First you must rename the existing "Glass Flight Deck" folder to something else and then install a fresh copy of glassdecksoftware on your new computer. To do so you need to download gfdsetup.exe from your flight deck software account. After that you can either copy your license into that new "Glass Flight Deck" folder + your existing gfd.xml + your navdata  either rename the new "Glass Deck Folder" into anything and restore the name of your old renamed Glass Flight Deck folder.
I kept the new folder and use the old renamed Glass Flight Deck as backup.
That works and I tested your gfd.xml. The gauges show up but you still have fine tuning to do  Grin. Your graphics card has nothing to do with, don't buy a new one.
